The above photographs illustrate a recent damp proofing project to a stone cottage in Frampton Cottrell, South Gloucestershire. The property had rising damp to the complete ground floor area.

To rectify the problem Accurate Damp Proofing Services, hacked off existing plaster to a height of 1.5000 mm above outside ground level. Then applying anti sulphate, SBR bonding adhesive to stone and filling defective pointing. Rendering of 2 coats of Holme sand and cement with an added Sovereign water proofer and SBR. Application to cement of 2 coats of Hey’di K11 Tanking. Render to Hey’di K11, sand and cement with an added Sovereign water proofer. Plastering of finishing plaster, allowing for decorating.
